Ford Mustang GTD


Ford is releasing the Ford Mustang GTD, the GTD is a track focused Mustang that makes 815 hp and focuses heavily on track use. They accomplished this by widening the fenders and adding a really big wing to add downforce so it can stick to the floor when going around corners. The Mustang GTD is the first production American vehicle to complete a lap time of the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes. Even though the Mustang already set a record ford thinks that the GTD can make an even faster lap time if the weather conditions allow.   "I'm not going to speculate about how much faster we can go because, in the end, it doesn't matter what I say. What matters is what you put on the track, These are a few words from Greg Goodwill the man who worked on the past three generation Mustang" he said. "We want more. We're not ready to be done."
