Reflection

Overall I feel that the car community is a very interesting and fun community to be part of, although I may not agree with everything that is done and said within the community. I also feel that if the car community sticks together we can teach others, and get our voices heard with certain car trends that are going around. Throughout my time of blogging I've learned that the car community is much bigger and much more diverse than I thought, such as there's people that enjoy electric cars  and there are people that are interested in getting more into the car community. I also learned that I can use my knowledge to help many people that are learning about cars and want to learn more about cars such as, teaching them how to do a oil change, teaching them what the fastest cars on the market are, or what is the fastest american track car. I also got to voice my opinion and find other people who agree with my opinion. Through my blogging process I've learned how to voice my opini...

Ford Mustang GTD

Image
Ford is releasing the Ford Mustang GTD, the GTD is a track focused Mustang that makes 815 hp and focuses heavily on track use. They accomplished this by widening the fenders and adding a really big wing to add downforce so it can stick to the floor when going around corners. The Mustang GTD is the first production American vehicle to complete a lap time of the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes. Even though the Mustang already set a record ford thinks that the GTD can make an even faster lap time if the weather conditions allow.    "I'm not going to speculate about how much faster we can go because, in the end, it doesn't matter what I say. What matters is what you put on the track, These are a few words from Greg Goodwill the man who worked on the past three generation Mustang" he said. "We want more. We're not ready to be done." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5YUiSxsawY Citations : https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a63118564/2025-ford-mustang-gtd-...

Why I Think Electric Cars Should be Stopped

Image
https://www.recurrentauto.com/research/just-how-dirty-is-your-ev Electric cars should stop being made because electric car batteries are made from lithium which can only be gathered by mining. In order to mine the lithium out of the ground we need to use large gas and diesel powered machinery. These machines produce more carbon monoxide which pollutes the world, versus a traditional gas powered vehicle. It is estimated that over 15 tonnes of carbon monoxide is released per year mining lithium, compared to a standard gas car that only produces 4.4 tonnes of carbon monoxide. Another reason why I think electric vehicles should be stopped is because of the price of electric vehicles. For example the price range of electric cars range from $48,430 for the base trim all the way to around $64,936 or even more, compared to a gas powered vehicle which ranges from $17,000 to $35,000+.  Also the range of electric cars is much worse compared to gas cars which means it could be challenging to g...
